Using the enquiry or free diagnostic forms passes us your name, phone number, email address and your description of the device and its fault. That information exists to answer your enquiry, produce diagnostics and quotes, and run your recovery job — nothing more. Nothing is sold on, nothing is shared for anyone else's marketing, and no marketing arrives from us either.
Every device sent in is logged into the secure lab and handled solely by our engineers. Recovered data goes onto encrypted media for the journey back to you, and once you confirm your files are safely home, our working copies are securely erased. The contents of your device are never browsed, used or passed on beyond what the recovery itself demands, or what the law compels.
Enquiry details stay only while the job needs them, then as far as ordinary bookkeeping requires. Working copies of recovered data are wiped after you confirm safe receipt — inside 14 days of return, as a rule.
UK GDPR entitles you to a copy of any personal information held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted where it's no longer needed. Ring 0800 689 0668 and it'll be dealt with promptly. Unhappy with how something's been handled? Complaints go to the ICO — the Information Commissioner's regulator site at ico.org.uk.
